2022 Gouais Blanc | Van Duzer Corridor
Björnson Vineyards | Salem, Ore

From the Van Duzer Corridor AVA in Oregon, comes an ancient variety being revitalized and cultivated by Björnson Vineyard. Gouais Blanc has been DNA tested and proven to be a parent grape to the more well known wines we love like Chardonnay, Riesling, Colombard — and about 75 other varietals as well. With this, it’s no surprise that we can appreciate the aromas of apples and cinnamon, magnolia flowers, and citrus. The extremely smooth texture of the wine is pursued by flavors of Bartlett pear, crisp green apple, lemongrass and a slight minerality that’s wonderfully balanced with fresh acidity.

Pair with a cheese-and-fruit board or your favorite shellfish recipes.

Price $35 | ABV 13.25%
