By day, Angela Prosper is a designer, writer, and photographer. By night, she’s a cocktail creator and culinary geek. She’s worked in the food industry for most of her career. From dishwasher to head bartender, server, line cook, and bar manager. She’s served healthy snacks to celebrities in the movie industry and flipped burgers at a tiny, sweltering 4-seater dive. Angela learned all the right and wrong ways to make a good cup of coffee and how to mix drinks by a New Jersey crooner with ’70s flair. She’s not picky. A.J. Rathbun has authored 10 books about cocktails, spirits, food, bars, distilleries and such, and contributed hundreds of articles on the same to snazzy magazines like Sip. He lives in Seattle, where when not sipping he’s walking his dog (go Ainsley!), and while he may like Washington state distillers best, he’s pretty darn fond of all the hard-working Pacific Northwest distilleries
