Additionally, a portion of proceeds from the sale of each cocktail will support a charity of each restaurant’s choosing, including Hunger Free OregonZenger Farm, and Milk Crate Kitchen.

Participating bars and restaurants include:

  • Olympia Provisions, Elias Cairo’s beloved charcuterie purveyor and Westward’s Southeast Portland neighbor (raising funds for Zenger Farm)
  • Fools & Horses, Collin Nicholas’ cocktail bar and Hawaiian Paniolo-inspired kitchen featuring food from Chef Casey Lee Gipson in Portland’s Pearl district (raising funds for Hunger Free Oregon).

Miles Munroe, Master Blender, Westward Whiskey, said “We’re thrilled to kick off our first-ever Westward Whiskey Tartare Tour here in our hometown of Portland. One of the most satisfying pairings for our whiskeys is tartare – the caramelized & rich character of Westward works so perfectly with the piquant, umami & briny flavors of tartare dishes.  So we were excited to inspire some of our favorite makers around Portland, creating unique interpretations of this dish that complement our whiskey flavors. I know these chefs will bring the culinary prowess this city is known for.”
