Rainier Beer’s FREE ‘R-Day’ Festival Unveils Its 2026 Lineup Featuring DEHD, Telehealth, Kadabra and Lace Cadence

by | Jun 2, 2026

R-Day is Rainier Beer’s ‘Thank You Letter’ to  Fans

It’s officially that time of year to dust off your best Rainier-themed costume, rally the crew, and save the date. Rainier Beer’s iconic ‘R-Day’ is returning to Georgetown on September 12th and ready to take over the neighborhood for FREE a day of fun, community pride, and an extra frothy helping of Mountain Fresh revelry.

This year’s music lineup brings fast-rising indie favorites DEHD with their unmistakable blend of post punk cool and offbeat indie charm, joined by Seattle five piece Telehealth, who craft an intoxicating, innovative art rock sound built from spacey synths and sharp, emphatic lyricism, as well as Spokane psych rock trio Kadabra. Rounding out the bill is Seattle mainstay Lace Cadence, a DJ and emcee known for bringing global influences and high energy to every set.

Attendees can expect to sip Rainier beer from multiple on-site beer gardens or pop into one of the independent Georgetown bars that have kept the Old Seattle vibe alive for decades. 100% of the beer garden proceeds will go to benefit the Georgetown Merchants Association, and beverage pricing will stay refreshingly reasonable—no absurd festival markups. The free-to-play arcade returns for another year of neighborhood glory, and for 2026, R-Day will debut a food truck garden with dedicated seating, giving fans even more reason to sip, sit, and stay a while

R-Day began in 2013, when the beloved red “R” was reinstalled atop Rainier’s former brewery, reviving a symbol that had been missing since the early 2000s. Since then, the celebration has become a can’t-miss tradition for thousands of fans — from lifelong loyalists to first-timers. Each year, the street gets more electric, the lineup gets more epic, and 2026 is set to deliver.

Attendees must be 21+ to join this FREE event.

About Rainier
Rainier was born in Seattle in 1878 before the state of Washington was even a state. Our founder, Andrew Hemrich, was a first-generation German from a long line of brew masters. Following in his father’s footsteps, he built the Seattle Brewing & Malting Company. Today we know it as the Rainier Brewing Company, named after the majestic mountain overlooking Andrew Hemrich’s new hometown. To this day, Rainier and its red ‘R’ continue to be a symbol of home and happiness for millions living the Pacific Northwest lifestyle. Rainier Beer is owned by Pabst Brewing Company, the largest independently owned American brewing company.
