Fans at Autzen Stadium and Matthew Knight Arena Will Be Able to Enjoy Locally Crafted Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris & Sparkling Rosé Beginning This September
EUGENE, ORE. – August 18, 2026 – Beginning this September, Duck fans will have a bold new way to celebrate game day traditions.
The University of Oregon and Sweet Cheeks Winery are proud to announce the launch of officially branded canned wines that will debut at home athletic events this fall at both Autzen Stadium and this winter at Matthew Knight Arena.
Crafted exclusively for Duck fans, the inaugural lineup includes:
- Pinot Noir
- Pinot Gris
- Sparkling Rosé
Sweet Cheeks Winery sustainably grew and hand-harvested the wines just miles from the University of Oregon campus, creating a uniquely local partnership that brings together Oregon wine country and one of the nation’s most iconic athletic programs.
Fans can now enjoy premium Oregon wine in a convenient canned format designed specifically for the excitement of game day.
“This partnership is incredibly special for us,” said Jessica Thomas, General Manager of Sweet Cheeks Winery. “As a family-owned winery rooted in Eugene, being able to create wines for Duck fans using grapes grown and hand-harvested right here in our community is something we are extremely proud of. These wines celebrate Oregon, the University of Oregon, and the unforgettable energy of Duck game days.”
Known for its welcoming hospitality and award-winning wines, Sweet Cheeks Winery partnered closely with the University to create a beverage program that feels distinctly Oregon: approachable, elevated, and community-driven.
The launch also represents a continued evolution of the fan experience at University of Oregon athletic venues, giving guests a premium local beverage option while highlighting the craftsmanship and agricultural excellence of the South Willamette Valley.
Fans can purchase the canned wines throughout concession areas beginning with the 2026 fall sports season, including the Ducks’ highly anticipated home opener at Autzen Stadium.
