Portland craft distillery adds two new markets, brings seven canned cocktails to Alaska and creates a Hawaii-exclusive POG Vodka Crush
PORTLAND, Ore. (September 1, 2026) – Portland-based 503 Distilling is growing its footprint with launches in Hawaii and Alaska, two new markets for the Oregon craft distillery.
The expansion brings seven 503 canned cocktails to Alaska and includes a new product created specifically for Hawaii: Passion Fruit Orange Guava Vodka Crush, or POG Vodka Crush.
“For a company our size, entering two new states at the same time is a big move,” said David Schleef, co-founder of 503 Distilling. “It gives us a chance to introduce 503 to a lot of new people while still doing what we’ve always done — making real cocktails with bold flavors.”
Seven 503 Cocktails Head to Alaska
503 Distilling’s Alaska lineup includes Wicked Mule, Marionberry Margarita, Espresso Martini, Rhubarb, Huckleberry Lemonade, Vodka Cranberry Crush and Watermelon Lemonade.
A New Cocktail Made Just for Hawaii
For Hawaii, 503 took a different approach and created a new canned cocktail specifically for the market.
POG Vodka Crush blends passion fruit, orange, guava and a touch of lime with 503 Distilling vodka. It is made with fresh juices and an infused simple syrup, with no artificial flavors or sweeteners.
“The trick was getting all three fruits to show up without one taking over,” said Rusty Caldwell, 503 Distilling co-founder and master distiller. “Passion fruit brings the tartness, guava gives it that big tropical aroma, orange rounds it out, and the lime keeps the finish crisp.”
POG Vodka Crush is 10% ABV and comes in 12-ounce (355 ml) cans, with about two cocktails per can. It is sold in four-packs and is available now at grocery and convenience stores statewide in Hawaii.
The Hawaii launch also includes Huckleberry Lemonade, Vodka Cranberry Crush and Watermelon Lemonade.
503 Distilling is working with The Odom Corporation, a family-owned beverage distributor founded in 1934, for distribution in Hawaii and Alaska.
The new markets continue 503 Distilling’s growth beyond Oregon while expanding the reach of its spirit-based canned cocktail lineup.
