Yippee Ki Yay

by | Dec 14, 2023

Named after the best Christmas movie to grace the silver screen, the Yippee Ki Yay brings a lot of flavor by combining barrel aged gin from Temple Distilling and cold brew. This riff on a White Russian tastes best with fresh nutmeg grated on top; it really brings everything together on the first sip. John McClane could have used a few of these — too bad they weren’t on the Nakatomi Plaza Christmas party menu!

INGREDIENTS

2 ounces Temple Distilling Woodcut Barrel Rested Gin
½ ounce Stumptown Cold Brew 2x Concentrate
½ oz heavy cream
½ ounce simple syrup
Fresh nutmeg, grated on top

DIRECTIONS

Fill a shaker tin with ice, add all ingredients, and shake until well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Top with freshly grated nutmeg.
