#WineWednesday Pick!

by | Jun 15, 2022

2020 GSM, Washington State
Telaya Wine Co., Garden City, ID

A marriage of 42% Syrah and equal parts of Mourvedre and Grenache, this “old world inspired” wine from Telaya Wine Company in Garden City, Idaho, exudes an explosion of flavors. While the bouquet is reminiscent of sodden earth, game meats and a touch of cedar, the Syrah-forward blend blankets the palate with notes of dried herbs, savory mushrooms, clove and oak. Well-balanced tannins and acid create a velvety mouthfeel that insists on a lasting grand finale.

Pair with your favorite charcuterie board or mushroom bourguignon.

Price: $38 | 14.7% ABV
