2019 Red Blend, Columbia Valley
Cataclysm Wine Co., Columbia Valley

Sparkling new on the Washington wine scene, Cataclysm Wine Co. launches this fall as an ode to the Missoula floods that shaped the land of the greater Columbia Valley. The line of three wines includes this Bordeaux-style red blend that receives a dose of Syrah to balance it out. The nose is fresh with young fig, blue fruits and a lacing of herbs, while the palate brings a bit of that cataclysmic chaos from bold Cabernet and Syrah, showcasing chocolate, cassis, earth and oak spice. Steal of a deal at $16 a bottle.

Price: $16 / 14.5% ABV
