College dreams turned into reality, Townshend Tea Company‘s modest beginnings have developed into a multi-location tea shop enterprise. The company was developed more than a decade ago at the University of Oregon and can now be found throughout the state with spots in Eugene, Bend, Northeast and Southeast Portland along with a “tea bar” at the city’s Hollywood District Whole Foods Market. Considering the thriving season, the #70 Citrus Green Rooibos is idyllic for sipping iced on a sun-soaked patio. A blend of red and green rooibos tea leaves is mixed with fruit, floral components and stevia to create a bright, light and refreshing summer-style tea with maximum citrus aroma and a soothing palate.
