Swede Hill Distilling Apple Pie Moonshine

by | Feb 6, 2015

It’s all about the apples with Yakima Valley’s Swede Hill Distilling. From the apple growing capital of the country, Swede Hill has their pick of the fruit as the base of their spirits. Descendents of Swedish immigrants to the area in the early 1900’s, owners Kevin and Pamela Milford started their distillery on the orchards the original Swedes planted. Their Apple Pie moonshine is exactly that—only in liquid form. Aromas of baked apple, pie crust and cinnamon blast from the glass and follow the scents of freshly baked pie onto the palate for a sumptuous, scrumptious flavored young whiskey.
