Guests are invited to explore the city’s waterfront through a guided cocktail and wine journey, developed by Michael Norbury and Justin Isidro
Vancouver, B.C., May 25, 2026 – This summer, set sail with Sips at Sea, a new curated harbour experience featuring Vancouver’s stunning coastal waterfront. Created by SZNS Group, a private hospitality and experience network founded by André Perez, the three-hour voyage invites guests aboard a special cruise that pairs guided wine and cocktail tastings with a narrative journey through Vancouver’s landmarks and maritime history.
“With Sips at Sea, we wanted to create something that feels both immersive and intentional — an experience that captures Vancouver through its waterfront while offering a new perspective on the city,” says André Perez, founder and CEO of SZNS Group. “By bringing together leading voices in the beverage space and layering in a narrative element, we’re able to create something that goes beyond a traditional offering. It becomes a way to engage with Vancouver itself. This is just the beginning of how we think about building experiences across the city.”
Sips at Sea bookings for June are now available online for individual guests (from $250++ per person) as well as private group experiences. The wine program is developed by award-winning sommelier Justin Isidro (currently operations manager for Kissa Tanto, Meo, and Bao Bei; co-owner of the upcoming Maria Celeste), while the cocktail program is led by BC Bacardi Portfolio Brand Ambassador Michael Norbury.
Wines, which will all be from B.C., will include wineries from the Massey Wines portfolio, such as Averill Creek, Vivezza Vineyard by Paul Troop Kutatas, and Zanatta Estate Winery. Many of the cocktails will feature spirits from Vancouver Island’s Sheringham Distillery.
At the core of Sips at Sea is a structured storytelling journey that traces key moments in Vancouver’s maritime evolution. Each cocktail selection corresponds to a specific era tied to the city, while the wine program focuses on local producers and their story, allowing guests to experience the city through both flavour and narrative. Examples include the origins of Vancouver’s maritime history, the city’s period shaped by shipyards and canneries, and Vancouver’s evolution into an internationally recognized destination.
“By structuring the experience around these chapters, guests can engage with our city in a more meaningful way – all while enjoying the harbour views,” adds Perez. “My hope is both locals and visitors alike will join us for Sips at Sea.”
Each Sips at Sea cruise will start and finish at the Pacific Boulevard Marina.
