by | Sep 17, 2013

Boise, Idaho is debunking the phrase “bad things come in threes” with a very good thing: the 3rd Annual Sippin’ in the City wine and food pairing event, taking place Friday, Nov. 8, in downtown Boise.

Not your typical wine tasting, Sippin’ in the City encourages guests to prepare themselves as they embark upon this uniquely designed event. More than 15 Idaho based wineries will be showcased at this sumptuous evening of wine and food, including Cinder Wines, Fraser Vineyard, Indian Creek Winery, Snake River Winery, Taleya Wine Company and more. As for the food? Accompanying the vast assortment of featured reds and whites, guests will enjoy a delicious variety of delectables from Open Table Catering, Idaho Preferred and Zeppole Baking Company.

The 3rd Annual Sippin’ in the City takes place at the Boise’s Linen Building, located in downtown Boise’s Linen District. Once considered the blue-collar district of downtown, guests will delight in this chicly contemporized stretch of refurbished Boise history, which now features an eclectic variety of modern dining, shopping and more.

Sippin’ in the City has made room for 250 guests at this five-star event and in addition to the food and beverages offered at this evening of fermented excellence, attendees of the event will also receive a commemorative wine glass.

Get ready to watch the bottles pour as you sample your way through this sweet and savory night. Tickets are $30 and may be purchased in advance at Brown Paper Tickets. For more information and a full list of vendors, visit Sippin’ in the City.
