Locus Wines 2013 Red

by | Oct 28, 2015

Locus Wines was established on the foundation of creating wines that truly embody the spirit of the grapes’ native environments. Currently, the Seattle winery’s focus lies in Washington state, but Oregon, Idaho and California are also on the production radar. This committed yet adventurous philosophy is also exhibited through Locus’ unorthodoz wine club—rather than signing away paychecks on wine shipments, members of “Socius” can earn badges and wine-filled rewards through social media—wine not?

The full-bodied Rhone-style blend 2013 Red emulates the nature-centric values of its winemakers. With bright acidity reminiscent of Yakima Valley’s cool evenings, followed by a soft earthiness to exude sunny days on the vineyard, this Syrah-Grenache fusion is all the motivation we need to become a part of the Locus lifestyle.
