WALLA WALLA, WA — Five Dollar Ranch Brewing Company, one of Walla Walla’s most celebrated craft beer destinations, will open its much-anticipated new location at 3557 Peppers Bridge Road in early May.
The move marks an important milestone for the locally owned brewery, which has operated since 2021 inside a small workshop on the Beet Road farm of owners Josh and Susan Hulett.
The new, 5,800-square-foot facility, just a 5-minute drive from the former space, is set among Walla Walla’s famous Southside wineries, with views of the Blue Mountains and surrounding vineyards. It honors the vibe of the original taproom (it’s actually a meticulously converted haybarn), but with more indoor and outdoor seating, 14 flagship and rotating beers on tap, local wines, and snacks from local vendors and food trucks.
“We wanted to increase our capacity, so we could bring a broad variety of our beers to our customers at any given time,” says Josh Hulett. “We also wanted a place where people can gather on the Southside, see friends, and enjoy a bite to eat.”
With the move, beer lovers will also find “FDR” favorites served in more local and regional restaurants.
Hulett is widely recognized by patrons as a dedicated craft brewing connoisseur, whose detailed, hands-on approach has contributed to Five Dollar Ranch’s loyal following. The brewery’s knowledgeable staff and community involvement have also earned positive reviews from fans.
