The Debut of the Pacific Northwest Cider Awards

Cider enthusiasts, save the date! The first annual Pacific Northwest Cider Awards (PNWCA) three-day cider festival will be taking place Friday, June 6 through Sunday, June 8 at The Woods tasting room in SoDo. This exciting first-of-its-kind festival, presented by Seattle Cider Company, and sponsored by Capitol Cider, Uber and the Washington Beer Blog, will celebrate PNWCA competition winners and the Pacific Northwest’s growing cider industry with three days of incredible cider, food trucks, music and more.

With 27 cideries from Washington, Oregon, Montana and British Columbia who are submitting 103 ciders for the competition, as well as a wonderful list of 25+ ciders featured on tap for the festival, this event is one you won’t want to miss.

Tickets can be purchased for each day of the festival for $30 in advance through Brown Paper Tickets or $35 at the door. Admission includes a 13-ounce PNWCA tulip glass and 8 tasting tokens. Additional tokens will be available for purchase at the event. Space is limited and expected to sell out, so all those interested in attending are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance!

Each ticket comes with a voting slip. The cider with the most votes at the end of the festival will be awarded the People Choice Award, to be announced on Monday, June 9. You must be 21+ to attend this event.
