Award-Winning Winery ROCO Opens CASA ROCO in Oregon’s Willamette Valley

by | Jul 21, 2026

Carlton, Oregon (July 20, 2026) — ROCO, an award-winning Willamette Valley winery producing Champagne method sparkling wines, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, announces the opening of CASA ROCO, a new hospitality destination. Located one hour from Portland, CASA ROCO is open seven days a week, offering wine flights, wines by the glass, and Italian-inspired light bites.

ROCO is owned by HERITA USA, a subsidiary of HERITA Marzotto Wine Estates, based in the Venice region of Italy. The third-generation Marzotto family are among the leading vintners and importers of Italian wines into the United States. In 2021, the family extended that legacy with the acquisition of ROCO, marking their debut in Oregon’s Willamette Valley—their first winery outside of Italy.

ROCO’s vineyards lie across three nested appellations in the Willamette Valley: the Chehalem Mountains, Dundee Hills, and Yamhill-Carlton. Most recently, ROCO expanded their Oregon vineyards with the acquisition of the Domaine Lumineux vineyard in the Dundee Hills, a high-elevation site known for growing grapes intended for sparkling wine production.

CASA ROCO is perched atop Marsh vineyards in Yamhill-Carlton, which the Marzotto family purchased in 2025. The nearly 10,000-square-foot space features a primary tasting room, a central pizza oven, and multiple private event spaces, and reflects the Marzotto family’s commitment to establishing a lasting presence in Oregon wine country. CASA ROCO seats 80 indoors and an additional 40 guests outdoors.

Vittorio Marzotto, fourth-generation family member and Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for HERITA USA, sees the opening of CASA ROCO as a natural expression of the family’s broader investment in the region: “In our family, wine is a calling, a tradition, and a labor of love passed down through generations. We are proud to plant roots here in the Willamette Valley and continue to build ROCO,” he said. “We are humbled by the extraordinary promise we see here in the Valley, and honored to be a part of the region’s future.”

ROCO has earned recognition as one of Oregon’s premier wineries. Rollin Soles arrived in Oregon in the 1980s at the front edge of the state’s emerging wine industry, helping to lay the groundwork for what has since become a world-class winegrowing region.

A grand opening ribbon cutting is scheduled at CASA ROCO on July 22 at 9:30 am.
