In Preview: Taste America Seattle

by | Aug 15, 2014

This fall, iron out the dinner party attire and join the James Beard Foundation at the Four Seasons Hotel as the star-studded Taste America culinary tour stops in Seattle. We mean it, prepare for some serious name-dropping.

On the evening of Friday, September 26, the “night of culinary stars” begins with cocktail and small plate creations from Pacific Northwest culinary powerhouses, including James Beard Award winners Maria Hines (also a veteran competitor on the Food Network hit, “Iron Chef America”) of Tilth, Golden Beetle and Agrodolce restaurants and Jason Wilson of Crush and Miller’s Guild restaurants.

Following the reception, save room for the four-course dinner, a culinary collaboration of grand proportions brought to you by Taste America All-Star and Food Network alum Marc Murphy, James Beard Award winner and Seattle favorite Tom Douglas and Four Seasons Seattle host chef Kerry Sear.

While diners celebrate local flavor and culinary diversity in the company of top restaurateurs, a portion of proceeds will help fund the James Beard Foundation’s Taste America Scholarship, available to Seattle-area culinary students.
