We Dig: Spring Wine Events

by | May 13, 2014

As the warm weather rolls in and the days grow longer, few things are as decadent as a glass of wine enjoyed in the midst of sunshine and good company. And, with all the wine-centric celebrations being hosted throughout the region, it’s as if we were all thinking the same thing. Celebrate spring, stemmed glass in hand, at any one of these sumptuous events.

6th Annual Revelry on Red Mountain
Enjoy one, two or all three of the events being hosted at the 6th Annual Revelry on Red Mountain. Kick the Eastern Washington weekend off on Saturday, May 24 from 6 pm-9:30 pm as you enjoy current releases from 24 Washington wineries atop the terrace at Col Solare Winery. After a good night’s rest, enjoy exploring new and old vineyards along the Red Mountain Walking Vineyard Tour and Lunch, led by Dick Boushey, Scott Williams, Jim Holmes, Jackie Hightower and Tom Hedges. The tour ends at Hedges Family Estate where there will be wine and h’orderves to sate your appetite. Finish off the weekend at a winemaker’s dinner – there are several happening at select Tri-Cities area wineries. Ticket prices and packages for each event vary, so check Auction of Washington Wines’ website for more information and to purchase your tickets.
