A Celebration of Latino Food, Wine & Culture in Oregon Wine Country

Latino Makers Food & Wine Convivio Announces Updated Schedule, Bringing Friday Dinner to Alumbra Cellars’ Vineyard

Inaugural LMFW Convivio will now kick off with an intimate five-course dinner in the vineyard, followed by Saturday’s Grand Tasting in McMinnville.

McMINNVILLE, Ore. – The inaugural Latino Makers Food & Wine Convivio, taking place September 25-26 in Oregon wine country, has announced an update to its Friday programming.

Rather than the previously announced panel and lunch, the Convivio will now begin Friday, September 25, with an intimate five-course dinner at Alumbra Cellars’ vineyard. The evening will center around the people and stories behind Oregon’s Latino food and wine community, with a collaborative menu from Chef Ricardo Antunez of Pura Vida Cocina and Xicha Brewing, Chef Maylin Chavez of Nácar Oysters, and Gary Marmanillo of Casa Zoraya.

Participating winemakers will pour their own wines throughout the evening, giving guests the opportunity to hear directly from the people behind each bottle and learn more about the food, wines, and stories behind each pairing.

On Saturday, September 26, the Convivio continues as planned at The Ground at Stillwater with a festival-style Grand Tasting featuring food, wine, makers, and opportunities to meet the people behind the participating businesses.

Tickets are available now at lmfwconvivio.com. Space for Friday’s dinner is limited, and guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.
