Ash & Elm Cider Co. will begin distribution of their Dry, Semi-Sweet and Sunset Tart Cherry ciders beginning February 24 with a launch party taking place at the tasting room on the Near Eastside of Indianapolis on the same day. Cans will be released in 12 oz 4-packs with design by award-winning local designer Amy McAdams and will be available both in their tasting room and at local liquor stores, bars and restaurants this spring.

The launch party is scheduled for February 24th inside the tasting room located at 2104 E. Washington St. from noon until 10 pm. Customers can expect discounts on four-packs and cases, tours of the production facility and a Q&A with the cidermakers.

The local cidery plans to can all of their flagship ciders as well as some of the popular seasonal ciders in the future. Each of the flagship ciders received a medal from the largest cider competition in the world, the Great Lakes International Cider and Perry Competition. Additionally, Sunset Tart Cherry placed in the top three regional ciders at the Indiana Brewers’ Cup. All ciders made by Ash & Elm Cider Co. are naturally gluten-free and made from 100% fresh-pressed apples, never from concentrate.

With this product launch, Ash & Elm Cider Co. will become one of the few cideries in Indiana to distribute canned craft cider. “From the outset of opening the cidery, we intended on canning and we are really excited for the opportunity to continue to grow the craft cider market in Indianapolis and the state,” says co-founder and Head Cidermaker, Aaron Homoya.
