Portland craft distillery expands its spirits lineup with a new 88-proof whiskey and Sept. 26 release party
PORTLAND, Ore. (September 8, 2026) — 503 Distilling is expanding its spirits lineup with the launch of 3 Sirens Straight American Whiskey, a new 88-proof whiskey developed to be approachable on its own and versatile enough for cocktails.
The Portland distillery will introduce 3 Sirens to the public with a release party Saturday, Sept. 26, from 7–10 p.m. at its SE Portland distillery.
“3 Sirens is the kind of whiskey that calls you back for another taste,” said Rusty Caldwell, co-owner and master distiller at 503 Distilling. “We wanted to make something flavorful and distinctive, but still smooth and versatile enough to enjoy however you like to drink whiskey.”
3 Sirens was created with a balance of richness, spice and structure, making it suitable for drinking neat, over ice or in cocktails.
The name and branding draw inspiration from Portland’s waterfront history, when docks, saloons and underground passageways helped give the city a reputation for mystery and intrigue. The three sirens represent the pull of the river and the stories connected to Portland’s early waterfront.
The Sept. 26 launch party will feature first tastes of 3 Sirens, whiskey tastings and specialty cocktails, music from DJ Ambush and food from 808 Grinds. The Iron Fireman building at 503 Distilling will be transformed with nautical-inspired décor and imagery tied to the 3 Sirens story.
Admission is $15 and includes one drink ticket and samples. The first 50 guests will receive a commemorative 3 Sirens whiskey snifter.
