At first whiff, buttery caramel and a surprisingly strong aroma of ripe banana emanate from the 80-proof spirit. On the palate, hints of other tropical fruits intermingle with rich brown sugar, while a full cast of baking spices rounds out the finish. This reliable yet versatile spirit will play well with flavors as diverse as cola, cranberry and orange zest well into the New Year.
