by | May 22, 2014

Enjoying a glass of wine is nearly a perfect experience by itself, but when delicious foods as well as live and silent auctions are combined with endless pourings of local and international wines in the support of a good cause, the experience becomes flawless.

The Sun Valley Center for the Arts has mastered the craft of charitable events with their annual wine auction, which is one of premier charity wine auctions in the country. This year, which marks the event’s 33rd anniversary, is to be held July 17– 20. Attendees will be able to participate in a multitude of activities, ranging from exciting live, along with silent, auctions, tastings of exquisite wines and tapas, and various vintner dinners.

This weekend’s schedule is filled with entertainment: kicking off Thursday with the highly anticipated dinner with the vintners, which are intimate dinners that take place in private homes and spoil their patrons with exquisite cellar gems and interesting cuisines, or a tapas and tasting event with also be held Thursday night. Friday boasts of an unforgettable Wine Auction Gala and Saturday concludes the festivities with a brunch for Friday’s winning bidders and the new Vine and Dine celebration.

Not only will wine lovers be gloriously overwhelmed by this weekend dedicated to the sensational products of the vine, but they will be supporting the Sun Valley Center for the Arts, an organization which provides educational opportunities in the arts. The Center provides students in the Blaine County School District with “fine art and music programming, lectures series, and arts education.”
