Like all good ideas, Pier Coffee began its life in a basement—the laundry room to be precise. Founder and coffee brewmaster Erin Williamson became fascinated with the idea of cold brewed coffee in 2013, while surveying possible alternatives to sugar-crazed iced coffees. What started as a simple venture, turned into a regional star for the cold brewed niche market.
Primarily located out of Seattle, Pier Coffee’s signature Cold Brew Concentrate is blended with water at a one-to-one ratio (giving you more bang for your buck). The deep, rich and smooth coffee flavors come out in this refreshing and surprising twist to the cafe norm. The velvety texture of Pier Concentrate is precisely balanced with dry notes of coco powder, chocolate, caramel and vanilla. Versatility is another of its virtues—mix this with water, milk or other liquids for your own concoction of the concentrate. Blend it with cocktails, add it to ice cream, or go really crazy and mix it with beer or wine.
