Half Shell Coming to Seattle Waterfront

by | Apr 30, 2024

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON – April 30, 2024. Seattle’s Tom Douglas & Co. is opening a PNW seafood house & raw bar on Saturday, May 11th, just in time for Mother’s Day reservations. Half Shell is located at the north end of Pike Place Market, perfectly situated on Seattle’s waterfront and next door to its more casual sister-restaurant, Seatown.

For the menu, Half Shell boasts an icy martini menu, all the local seafood (pearls of the PNW, if you will), and a glorious oyster happy hour, served seven days a week. Expect pearlescent designs, a glorious shucker collection, the return of booth seating (!) and seatowers of oysters, wild shrimp, scallop crudo and Sockeye salmon belly (just add the unlimited kennebec fries). Other house favorites include steak frites and of course, dirty martini dip with olives and blue cheese, served with potato chips.

Half Shell will be open seven days a week, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, and Friday and Saturday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Happy hour will run seven days a week 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Visit Half Shell at 2020 Western Ave, Seattle, WA 98121, formerly the beloved Etta’s. Reservations are encouraged, but not required. Happy hour is first come and served exclusively in the bar, which is 21+.
