Pelican Pub & Brewery Kiwanda Cream Ale

by | Jun 20, 2013

The Pelican Pub & Brewery has one main focus—make great beers to go with great food. The ultimate pairing is brought to life by their Oregon Coast pub and brewery in Pacific City where they serve brew and chow for three meals daily for the past 16 years. Brewmaster Darron Welch produces and teaches pedigree in the brewery, with award-winning beers and successful protégé galore. Beer plays a major role in not only matching food and drink but in the cuisine itself at the pub, including the Kiwanda Cream Ale battered onion rings and several other culinary infusions. The Kiwanda Cream Ale is a model fusion of the beer seasons—floral hops and fruity with the impact of sweet malts and cream, balancing between a hearty winter ale and snappy summer brew for the ideal springtime sipper.
