PROOF, the 2015 Washington Distiller’s Festival, ttakes place July 11 at Fremont Studios from 5:30-9:00 pm. The event is hosted by the Washington Distiller’s Guild, a non-profit made to promote the success of local spirits within Washington.
This one day event will feature rums, vodka, gin and more from more than 40 distillers right here in the Pacific Northwest. Sample product from the Lacey-located (and today’s Daily Sip) Salish Sea Organic Liqueurs, or grab a taste from neighboring distillery Fremont Mischief, among many others. Make sure to fill up on food from one of the many showcased restaurant vendors. Need a break from tasting? Listen to some industry celebrities as they give spirit-filled guest talks.
If you’re looking to well…uplift your home supply of spirits, you can head over to the on-site store to pick up a bottle or two of some of your favorites from the day.
General admission will get you an official event tasting glass, as well as ten taste tokens so you can sample out any liquors that happen to peak your interest. A VIP ticket gets you into the event an hour before general admission, and two additional tasting tokens. Tickets can be purchased here for $40, $60 for the VIP package.
