Honey Moon Mead & Cider Ciderhead Rhubarb

by | Sep 29, 2015

In the quirky town of Bellingham, Washington sits an equally quirky producer: Honey Moon Mead & Cider. The winery initially stemmed from a passion for creating unique and playful concoctions, and quickly evolved into a hub for meads, ciders, eats, live music and art; a dedication to fresh, local ingredients is Honey Moon’s top priority. Small batches of unconventionally flavored meads—blueberry, wassail and hot spiced to name a few—and their debut Apple Cider CiderHead are what keep their locally sourced philosophy flourishing.

Considering their vast imagination and love for the eclectic element, it is no surprise that the winery has created a Rhubarb CiderHead. Made with apple wine, honey wine and rhubarb, it’s the perfect cross between wine and a classic apple cider. With top notes reminiscent of a light, sweet white wine, and a lingering taste of bubbly rhubarb on the palate, this rebellious bevvy may be your ideal fall companion.
