Community-wide effort invites Oregonians to fight hunger through grocery rebates, food donations and the 16th Annual Harvest Party
CORVALLIS, Ore. (Sept. 1, 2026) – This September, every qualifying grocery purchase, every food donation and every Harvest Party ticket can help fight hunger in Oregon. In recognition of Hunger Action Month, 2 Towns Ciderhouse is launching a statewide campaign benefiting Oregon Food Bank that raises awareness, funds and food donations while giving shoppers a $10 digital rebate to help offset grocery costs.
“Food and cider have always brought people together, and that sense of community is at the heart of who we are,” said Lee Larsen, co-founder and CEO of 2 Towns Ciderhouse. “We believe strong communities take care of one another, and that includes helping ensure no one has to wonder where their next meal is coming from. We wanted to create a campaign where everyone can participate by raising awareness, supporting Oregon Food Bank, donating food to neighbors in need and even receiving a little help stretching their own grocery budget.”
3 Ways 2 Towns is Supporting Hunger Relief
- $10 Grocery Rebate
Beginning Sept. 1, shoppers who purchase two qualifying 2 Towns Ciderhouse or Seattle Cider multipacks along with a qualifying $25 grocery purchase can receive a $10 digital rebate by uploading their receipt. The promotion is available at participating grocery retailers throughout Oregon.
- Food Donations at the 2 Towns Taproom
Throughout September, guests visiting the 2 Towns Ciderhouse Taproom (33930 SE Eastgate Cir, in Corvallis) are encouraged to bring nonperishable food donations. Every donation earns one entry to win a pair of tickets to the 16th Annual Harvest Party.
- Harvest Party Celebration
Join us Saturday, Oct. 3, from 12–9 p.m., for the 16th Annual Harvest Party at 2 Towns Ciderhouse headquarters in Corvallis. Net proceeds from Harvest Party benefit Oregon Food Bank, while guests are encouraged to bring additional nonperishable food donations to support Linn Benton Food Share.
Recently recognized as a 2026 Best of the Willamette Valley award winner, the Harvest Party has grown into one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier cider festivals, bringing together thousands of guests for award-winning cider, live music, local food, production tours and community celebration.
The festival will feature performances by Chali 2na with special guest Chris Karns, DJ D-Man and Citizens of the Universe, along with local artisan vendors, food trucks, cidermaker talks, factory tours and more.
Oregon Food Bank partners with a statewide network of regional food banks and over 1,200 partner agencies working to ensure everyone has access to nourishing food while addressing the root causes of hunger
“When businesses invest in their communities, the impact extends far beyond a single event,” said Kathryn Kocarnik, Community Philanthropy Senior Developer at Oregon Food Bank. “Partnerships like this help connect more people to food today while building stronger communities for tomorrow. We’re grateful to 2 Towns Ciderhouse for helping build awareness and inspire community action during Hunger Action Month.”
Whether purchasing groceries, donating food or attending Harvest Party, every action taken during Hunger Action Month helps strengthen communities across Oregon.
