An intimate tasting room opens just in time for Spring Release Weekend, dedicated to the wines of SJR Vineyard and The Rocks District
WALLA WALLA, Wash. — April 23, 2026 — Delmas, known for its Rhône varieties sourced from the family’s highly-regarded SJR Vineyard in The Rocks District, proudly announces the opening of Delmas On The Plaza, located at 3 South 1st Ave., in the heart of downtown Walla Walla.
Delmas releases have been sought after by wine collectors since 2010. Proprietors, and father-daughter team, Brooke and Steve Robertson, felt the time was right to welcome guests into a distinctive, dedicated space. The opportunity to secure a prime downtown Walla Walla location aligned seamlessly with the brand’s commitment to hand-farmed, estate-driven wines from The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater.
Delmas On The Plaza is a downtown destination where guests can experience wines rooted in this globally celebrated terroir, while gaining a unique perspective from the Robertson family who has been instrumental in the formation and ongoing leadership of The Rocks District.
“We have long envisioned a space where we can host our members and guests. After many years, we are thrilled to bring this vision to life,” said Brooke Delmas Robertson, Director of Winegrowing for Delmas.
Delmas On The Plaza welcomes guests into a warm, comfortable downtown Walla Walla space designed for curated experiences that are personal, relaxed, and rooted in conversation. Reserve a tasting experience, stop in for featured glass pours, or stay awhile and order a bottle of wine for your table. Offerings include wines by the glass and bottle, local beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and a curated selection of snacks. Tasting experiences are $65 per person (waived with membership sign-up or the purchase of three bottles or one magnum) and available by reservation at delmaswines.com. Currently, tasting room hours for walk-in guests are Thursday-Saturday, 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
To complement the tasting experience, Delmas will feature curated local accompaniments, including Mercer Estate almonds and Petits Noirs chocolates. Additional locally sourced products will be introduced over time to further enhance the guest experience. Delmas members receive preferred pricing on bottles, complimentary tastings throughout the year, and exclusive invitations to member-only events and dinners.
