Cascade Ice Wild Berry

by | Feb 10, 2014

How many beverages other than water can call themselves “zero-calorie?” Well, Everett, Wash.-based Cascade Ice can. The sparkling flavored waters are also bottled without sugar, sodium, carbs, caffeine or gluten and promote “guilt free taste” overall. In a time when many are re-purifying their precious systems, Cascade Ice will come in handy and is available at many major retailers in all 50 states (Albertson’s, Safeway, QFC, Metropolitan Market, the list goes on). With 31 different flavors over three varying categories, Cascade Ice also offers cocktail recipes to buzz about. Use the rich and racy Wild Berry (from the “With Juice” line) in their “Berry Spicer” cocktail: mix 5 ounces of Cascade Ice Wild Berry with 10 ounces of spiced rum in a glass. Stir the cocktail and garnish with a cinnamon stick or fresh berries. Good news: by substituting Cascade Ice instead of coke or soda, you are saving about 70 calories. Good to note: shake the bottle before pouring, the flavors can bulk up but a gentle jiggle will jostle the bubbles back up.
