Limited-release collaboration with the Cougar Collective debuts August 5 in Spokane
Spokane, WA—Brick West Brewing is proud to announce the release of Ol’ Crimson 509 IPA, a limited-edition West Coast IPA created in partnership with the Cougar Collective.
Inspired by the pride and loyalty of Washington State University fans, Ol’ Crimson 509 IPA is a hop-forward, game-day-ready beer brewed for Cougars throughout Eastern Washington and beyond.
A portion of sales from Ol’ Crimson 509 IPA will benefit the Cougar Collective and its work creating opportunities for WSU student-athletes through Name, Image and Likeness programs.

Ol’ Crimson 509 IPA features notes of candied orange, passionfruit, pineapple, mango, lime and berry, supported by a crisp, hop-forward finish. The 6.1% ABV West Coast IPA is brewed with Chinook, Citra, Centennial, Mosaic and Strata hops.

Brick West Brewing will celebrate the debut of Ol’ Crimson 509 IPA with a release party featuring former WSU student-athletes and alumni.

The release party is free and open to all ages. Guests will be among the first to try Ol’ Crimson 509 IPA and can purchase the beer by the pint or in four-packs of 16-ounce cans to take home.
Former WSU student-athletes and alumni will be in attendance, with names and additional event details to be announced.
The event marks the first opportunity to purchase Ol’ Crimson 509 IPA before the limited-release beer begins appearing on draft and in 16-ounce cans at select bars, restaurants and retail locations throughout the region.
