Beer of the Week!

by | Aug 28, 2021

Hot Tub Lifeguard
Bale Breaker Brewing Co., Yakima, WA

Best known for its fresh off the farm IPAs, Bale Breaker might raise a few eyebrows with this kettle sour. Rose gold in color with exuberant carbonation, Hot Tub Lifeguard introduces itself with the friendly aromas of ripe raspberry, tropical guava, and citrus zest as well as a zing of tangy acidity. Light bodied and less tart than other examples of the style, it’s a seriously quenching beer that marries notes of oranges and berries with a trace of guava’s pear-like flavor, a wisp of bitterness, and a generous dose of fun. With this lifeguard on duty, your taste buds won’t have anything to worry about.
