Alesong Brewing & Blending Debuts Four New Beers

by | May 20, 2026

Featuring the return of fan-favorite French 75, along with a new wine-beer hybrid, a decadent imperial oatmeal stout, and a traditional farmhouse ale.

Alesong Brewing & Blending has released four new barrel-aged blends—French 75, Moon on Their Wings, Cherry Decadence, and Traditions—at its tasting room and at retailers across the Pacific Northwest.

  • French 75 – Returning for the fifth time, this fan-favorite is inspired by the cocktail of the same name. We aged our dry, French-style saison in Oregon-distilled Old Tom gin barrels from Ransom Spirits, lending flavors of citrus, juniper and cardamom. Drawing inspiration from our mixologist brethren, we finished the blend on fresh lemon zest. A dusting of complex herbal flavors layer over the base saison, resulting in a dry, lemony, and spicy finish.
  • Moon on Their Wings – Following Bright Copper Kettles, next in our “Favorite Things” series of wine-beer hybrids is Moon on Their Wings. This blend of tart blonde ales co-fermented with Grenache grapes from Quail Run Vineyard in southern Oregon. Aged in French oak, this beer pours a deep crimson and bursts with notes of ripe berries layered with white pepper and balanced by a complex tannin structure.
  • Cherry Decadence – In our tenth year, we’re pulling out all the stops. This imperial oatmeal stout is silky and decadent, bursting with bourbon aroma from Westward Whiskey barrels. Layers of smooth vanilla, toasted oak, and dark chocolate intermix with slightly sweet cherry flavor, creating a chocolate-covered cherry in a glass.
  • Traditions – Inspired by farmhouse brewing traditions, this member-exclusive blend of oak-aged saison is subtle and nuanced. Brewed with Oregon-grown ingredients and matured in seasoned Alesong barrels, Traditions showcases our terroir. Bright citrus notes dance with a complex yeast profile and a cracker-like malt aroma. Balanced acidity and oak tannin bring substance and body with a refreshingly light finish.

WHAT: Four new beers available on draft and in bottles at Alesong’s tasting room, alongside the seasonal menu from Alesong’s on-site scratch kitchen. French 75, Moon on Their Wings, and Cherry Decadence will be available at select retailers throughout the Pacific Northwest.

WHEN: Beginning Thursday, May 21 at 1pm and continuing during regular tasting room hours Thursday through Sunday from 1:00-8:00pm.

ABOUT ALESONG BREWING AND BLENDING: Founded in 2016 and now celebrating its 10-year anniversary, Alesong Brewing & Blending was named Brewery of the Year in its size category at the 2024 Great American Beer Festival®. An artisan brewery, winery, and cidery based in the heart of southern Willamette Valley wine country outside Eugene, Oregon. With a primary focus on oak-aging, Alesong crafts unique and small-batch blends, producing styles that span the flavor spectrum. As the beer, wine, or cider in barrels matures, the team samples and selects barrels individually to create a final blend. Paying homage to old-world Lambic blenders and artisan winemakers, Alesong strives to achieve complex and balanced final blends that are much more interesting and complete than the sum of their parts or any individual barrel by itself.
