CHIMACUM, WA (March 25, 2026) — Finnriver Farm & Cidery, the first B Corp certified cidery in the United States, is expanding its canned cider lineup this spring with the debut of Finnriver Dry. Launching in April 2026, the new release brings one of Finnriver’s most beloved draft styles — rooted in 100% organic Northwest and heirloom apples — to the can format for the first time.
For over fifteen years, Finnriver has been crafting cider at the intersection of organic farming, traditional fermentation, and a deep commitment to the land and communities of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. Finnriver Dry joins a can lineup that already includes two award-winning favorites:
- Dry (6.5% ABV) – Dry, crisp and light. Made from 100% organic Northwest apples, including heirloom varieties that showcase the drier side of our favorite fruit. Balanced and easy to drink in any weather, Dry is a perfect introduction to Finnriver cider.
- Bloom (6.8% ABV) – Semi-dry, fruity and bright. Crisp, organic Washington apples meet sweet, organic blueberries, which give this sparkling cider a lovely purple hue. Featured in the Wall Street Journal as a “New School Cider So Right for Your Holiday Table”, December 2025, and won Glintcap gold in 2025.
- Blush (6.5% ABV), Dry, crisp and light. Tart, organic Washington apples meet black currants in this beautiful, pink sparkling cider. Featured as a Judge’s Pick in Sip Magazine’s Best of the NW Cider, 2024.
“This cider was originally named O.P. Dry to honor our home on the Olympic Peninsula where we farm and ferment our apples. The cider won an award at the NW Cider Cup and became a favorite on draft in our tasting room and around the region, even earning a tap in the galleys aboard the Washington State Ferries,” says Amanda Oborne, Finnriver’s CEO. “Over time, customers were just calling it Dry and asking for it to go. We decided to follow their lead, simplify the name, and offer it in cans! Now this crisp, dry expression of place and our favorite fruit can travel as easily as the people who love it.”
Distribution will launch in premium grocery and specialty retail in Washington and Oregon, expanding to Northern California, Montana, Idaho, and Colorado by summer. For sales and distribution inquiries, contact Chelsea Anderson at chelsea@finnriver.com.
