As the holidays approach, Oregon-based Wild Roots Spirits puts their own festive spin on desserts with this Boozy Apple Cinnamon Pudding. Made with Wild Roots Apple & Cinnamon Infused Vodka, this indulgent treat is rich and creamy with warm spice and baked-apple notes for a cozy, winter-ready finish.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup Wild Roots Apple & Cinnamon Vodka
½ cup sugar
2 large egg yolks
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
Optional: 2–3 tbsp apple butter for extra apple flavor
GARNISH
Cinnamon, nutmeg, or crushed graham cracker
DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan, whisk together the milk, cream, sugar, egg yolks, and cornstarch until smooth. Place over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens into a pudding-like consistency. Remove from heat and stir in the Wild Roots Apple & Cinnamon Vodka, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and apple butter if using. Let cool slightly, then divide into small glasses or ramekins. Refrigerate until set, about 1–2 hours. Before serving, top with a dusting of cinnamon or crushed graham cracker for a festive finish.
