Featuring fan favorites alongside a new sour ale with cucumber and mint
Alesong is pleased to announce the debut of four new barrel-aged blends becoming available at their wine country tasting room and to retailers across the Pacific Northwest. This release features four brand new beers for the season:
• With cooling cucumber and refreshing mint, Cucumber Enlightenmint is a bright and refreshing tart ale aged in neutral French oak barrels. A perfect pour for warm, sunny days, this summer spritz offers a subtle complexity and layered depth that might catch you daydreaming about sunsets over the water.
• Beleza takes inspiration from a bellini, the less common and more decadent brunch cocktail. A blend of oak-aged sour beers, Beleza matured with Willamette Valley Pinot Gris grapes and Oregon peaches. Bursting with flavors of fresh fruit and summertime, this beer finishes with a hint of sweetness, balanced with light acidity.
• A perennial fan favorite, Kentucky Kilt is Alesong’s malt-forward, deep amber-colored, Scotch-style ale. It matured this year in Wild Turkey 16-year bourbon barrels. The freshly emptied casks induce aromas of vanilla and oak, while hints of ripe fruit and toffee round out this unique and complex barrel-aged blend.
• And finally, Showstopper ‘25 continues the third year of our collaboration with Eugene’s Hult Center for the Performing Arts and celebrates their 43rd season. This rich, bold, bourbon-barrel-aged imperial stout was finished on vanilla beans and Dominican Zorzal cocoa nibs selected by the Hult Center team. The Showstopper series aspires to honor the shared vision of Alesong and the Hult Center to bring people together over experiences.
WHAT: Four new beers available on draft and in bottles at the tasting room, alongside the normal menu from Alesong’s on-site scratch kitchen. Kentucky Kilt and Beleza will be available at select retailers throughout the Pacific Northwest beginning the week after the brewery release.
WHEN: Beginning Thursday, 8/21 at 1:00 p.m. and continuing during the tasting room’s regular hours Thursday through Sunday from 1:00-8:00pm. Reservations required for Blender’s Circle Club member release party August 14 – August 17.
