Adeline Blackberry Hard Cider: Pure Pacific Northwest in Every Sip.

by | Jan 29, 2025

Hood River, OR – January 2024 Double Mountain Brewery & Cidery is excited to announce the 2nd annual return of Adeline Blackberry Hard Cider for the 2024  apple crop season, now with some delightful updates that elevate its flavor and complexity.

Double Mountain has been busy tweaking the recipe to give Adeline even more personality. By adding 25% more blackberries  this year, they turned up the volume on those juicy berry flavors and gave the cider an even bolder purplish glow. Not stopping  there, they blended in heirloom apples and just a smidge of pears from their Double Mountain Orchard to add a hint of sweetness,  a touch more body, and a whole lot of delicious complexity.

The result? A cider that’s bursting with blackberry goodness, juicy apple, a dash of raspberry sorbet vibes, and now a hint of  pear. It’s dry, it’s crisp, and it’s got just the right balance to make your taste buds dance.

“Adeline Blackberry Hard Cider has always been about celebrating the incredible fruit of the Hood River Valley,” says Matt  Swihart, owner and brewmaster of Double Mountain. “This year’s tweaks gave it a little more oomph- bigger berry flavors, more  depth, and a color that’ll make you do a double-take.”

With just 0.09% residual sugar, Adeline Blackberry Hard Cider remains a dry, crisp, and refreshing choice for any occasion.  Whether it’s a cozy night by the fire, après-ski relaxation, or simply wintertime unwinding, this cider is sure to impress.
