J.P. TRODDEN, sharing a passion for whiskey

by | Sep 26, 2024

J.P. Trodden Distilling was founded in Woodinville, Washington, in 2010 and was the first distillery in Washington to exclusively produce bourbon whiskey.

Inspired by his grandfather’s love of whiskey and love of sharing it with friends, founder Mark Nesheim named his distillery after him. Today, Nesheim carries that same passion for whiskey and the love of sharing it with friends.

J.P. Trodden features original Small Batch Bourbon, well known for winning a Double Gold Medal at the World Spirits Competition. Since then the distillery has added a Single Cask Bourbon, a 6-Year Reserve Bourbon, a Cask Strength Bourbon and a 10-Year Limited Edition Bourbon.

J.P. Trodden operated in Woodinville for nearly 10 years before building a new facility in Maltby, Washington, to increase production and keep up with demand.

Each of J.P. Trodden’s grain-to-glass bourbons start with Washington grown corn, winter wheat and pure water from the Cross Valley Single Source Aquifer before being twice-distilled and barrel aged in new charred American oak selected from a Kentucky cooperage.

Nowadays, Mark and son Dylan work side by side creating their world class bourbons while keeping a close eye on every detail.

Grand dad J.P. Trodden was known for being a man to choose the road less traveled, and that spirit lives in every bottle of his namesake bourbon.
