Newberg, Oregon – June 25, 2024 – Sealionne Wines, the vision of husband-and-wife team Piper Underbrink and Ben Stalker, is thrilled to announce the opening of their outdoor tasting pavilion. Nestled in the heart of Oregon’s renowned Ribbon Ridge AVA, this casual vineyard tasting offers a playful experience featuring a vintage Airstream trailer, custom-built picnic tables under a restored barn, and sweeping views of Mt. Jefferson and Ribbon Ridge AVA’s most treasured vines.

“We’ve poured our love for adventure, fine wine, and the great outdoors into every detail, ” said Piper Underbrink, winemaker and co-owner. “From Ben’s custom furniture lovingly built by hand, to new varietals of wines I have been eager to release, every element reflects our passion. We want our visitors to feel the same excitement and joy that we do, every time they step onto our vineyard property.”

Now accepting reservations, each tasting experience will feature five carefully crafted varietals, highlighting the unique terroir of their West Wind Vineyard in the Ribbon Ridge AVA. Tastings are $20 per person, with the fee waived upon purchase of a bottle. Picnic baskets include sandwiches and snacks for $40 per person. Guests can book their reservations on Tock now.

Just in time for the commencement of summer, the outdoor-oriented tasting experience at Sealionne Wines invites visitors to embark on a self-guided hike around the vineyard followed by a tasting session. Sealionne is also offering picnic meals for guests to enjoy amidst the vineyard’s breathtaking scenery, and is dog and kid friendly.

“This is more than just a wine tasting; it’s an adventure for those who love camping and outdoor adventures, paired with fine wines and beautiful views,” said Ben Stalker, co-owner. “We can’t wait to share our passion with fellow outdoor enthusiasts and wine lovers.”

Sealionne stands out for its commitment to sustainability and creativity, producing dry-farmed and organic wines that capture the essence of the vineyard’s terroir. Their approach is both experimental and unconventional, embracing innovative methods to create expressive and distinctive wines. Sealionne’s offerings are not only fun and approachable but also reflect a deep respect for the environment and a passion for pushing the boundaries of traditional winemaking.
