This Holiday Sour is here to steal the spotlight. This is a simple and straightforward cocktail made to become multifaceted with the rich undertones Westland Flagship brings to the table. The cranberry syrup creates a vibrant color that will dazzle your dinner guests.
INGREDIENTS
2 ounces Westland Flagship American Single Malt Whiskey
¾ ounces lemon juice
½ ounce cranberry syrup
Eggwhite (optional)
GARNISH
Float of Angostura bitters or a candied cranberry skewer
DIRECTIONS
Combine 2 oz Westland Flagship, lemon juice, cranberry syrup, and optional egg white in a shaker. Dry shake for 10–12 seconds to build texture, then add ice and shake again until well chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe and finish with a gentle float of Angostura bitters.
