We Dig: Northwest Growler Stations

by | Sep 29, 2015

You know that beer-filled canteen you keep on hand that sometimes—on a sad, sad day—runs dry, leaving you without proper sudsy sustenance? Well, we’re sure it answers to “growler” for good reason, but on those days, beer-less and bummed, it seems likely that the name evolved from the urge to growl in agony for the lost lager. If this scenario sounds familiar, and you are aching to drink from your growler rather than be referred to as one, we have a feeling you’ll appreciate this list of savvy Northwest growler fill stations.

The Growler Guys
Providing the premier selection and value of Pacific Northwest craft beer, The Growler Guys is backed by a thirst for innovation, determination, and of course, a cold one. To uphold this promise, they’ve found a way to eliminate the foam and oxygen in your beer, plus make it possible for your half-empty growler to remain fresh. Locations also sport

Tap Station
Built next door to rustic wine and beer bar Locöl Barley & Vine, Tap Station was created in the name of spreading some liquid love to the beer advocates of Seattle. Their aim is to provide over 100 selections of bottled beer, so if you have one in mind, they probably have it on hand. If not, choose a mix-and-match six-pack and spread that love to your fellow beer fans at home.
