CIDER TUESDAY: Schilling Cider & Company Schilling Original Hard Cider

Colin Schilling, co-founder and cidermaker of Schilling Cider, comes from a long-line of agriculture and production. His great-great-grandfather, August Schilling, founded Schilling Spice Company (now the grocery mainstay McCormick) and Colin has based his young company on a similar model of “honest, quality product at an accessible price.” And an accessible presentation – Schilling Ciders can be found on tap and in a can in four varieties for starters. Schilling Original Hard Cider is dry, crisp with dry hops and simply sessionable. The cider mimics a pilsner laced with apple and a secret punch packed with 6.5% ABV.
