The Daily Sip: Emerald City Beer Dottie Seattle Lager

emeraldcityBEER THURSDAY: Emerald City Beer Dottie Seattle Lager

Emerald City Beer Company picked up where history left off in the old Rainier Brewing building in Seattle with a new set of beers and fresh homebrewing faces. Sure, the packaging on the cans are slightly unsavory for some women (“You bet your sweet malts my hops are real,” says the voluptuous cartoon Dottie while poised on a pint of her namesake brew) but it’s what’s inside that counts! Dottie agrees and boasts a golden tinted ale with sweet malt and sassy citrus aromas, ending in a fuller bodied yet sessionable lager that keeps the hops and booze down.
