Soda Jerk Lemon Lavender Soda

by | Jul 29, 2013

Former cosmetic chemist Cory Clark started Soda Jerk Sodas in the fashion of a classic 1950s drug store soda jerk earlier this year with a stand at the Ballard Farmers Market in Seattle. Clark now has stands at four farmers markets in the Seattle area, all sporting his bubbling farm-style chemistry set for sodas. The “jerk” combines local fruits, vegetables, herbs and extracts (sans any cola or high-fructose corn syrup) for his sodas, including the popular Lemon Lavender soda. Stingingly fresh with lemon bit, the timely lavender adds a savory and floral component to a sparkling lemonade.
