Elysian Brewing’s Great Pumpkin Beer Festival (GPBF) is turning 21, and this year, it’s headed back to where it all began: Elysian’s Capitol Hill pub. For the first time in over a decade, Seattle’s most iconic fall beer celebration is returning to its original location on October 3-4 for a milestone year that’s part throwback and part reinvention.
GPBF isn’t your average autumn beer fest. It’s a legendary cultural moment (and a two-day celebration that sells out every year) featuring over 60 pumpkin and fall harvest brews from around the country, live music, incredible food, costume contests, pumpkin pie-eating battles, and the iconic giant pumpkin keg – a several-hundred-pound gourd that’s scorched, filled with beer, and tapped live at the event. What started in a Seattle pub in 2005 has evolved into the definitive pumpkin beer event in the country, and this year, the return to Capitol Hill brings it full circle.
This year, tickets are now on sale online at www.elysianbrewing.com/gpbf. Tickets are available for those 21+ as a 2-Day pass with exclusive pumpkin beer keychain, Friday pass, Saturday pass, or Designated Driver tickets for either day.
For those eager to get in on the fun early, Elysian’s cult-favorite pumpkin brews (Night Owl, Punkuccino, and Great Pumpkin) are now back on tap and on shelves.
