Rosé in the Rose City, Portland OR – June 14th

by | May 24, 2012

DRINK PINK! THE NORTH WILLAMETTE VINTNERS TOAST SUMMER WITH ROSÉ IN THE ROSE CITY – JUNE 14

Celebrate Rose Festival with the new Rosé in the Rose City grand tasting event at Montgomery Park

The North Willamette Valley may be known for its pioneering wineries crafting world-class Pinot Noir, but when the sun shines, we love to uncork some Rosé and start sipping! The North Willamette Vintners are thrilled to host the first Rosé in the Rose City wine-tasting event in conjunction with Portland’s annual Rose Festival celebration. As an officially sanctioned Rose Festival event, Rosé in the Rose City brings 18 North Willamette Valley wineries to Portland for an afternoon of sun-splashed sipping featuring Rosé and other summer varietals such as Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and sparkling wine. The Rosé varietals available for tasting will highlight different winemaking styles – from sweet to dry. There will also be exclusive limited edition tastings. The event takes place at Montgomery Park, 2701 NW Vaughn St., Portland, on Thursday, June 14th from 5 to 8 p.m. Wine is available to purchase in any assortment by the bottle or the case with special event discounts. Tickets are $25 each and include wine tastings, light food pairings and a commemorative wine glass. For tickets, please visit www.nwvintners.org.
