New Deal Distillery Portland 88 Vodka

by | Jun 5, 2015

New Deal’s Distillery’s Portland 88 vodka is…proof that over-proof vodkas can be clean and crisp, and carry a pleasant hint of flavor.

Southeast Portland-distilled since 2004 (New Deal is the founding member of the neighborhood’s Distillery Row), the 44 percent ABV distillate is coaxed from organic grains in small batches and tempered with Bull Run water. The result is a smooth vodka that lends easily to mixing, with nuances of sweetness and citrus tied in—the perfect reason to break out the Moscow mule mugs for summer.
