Longdrop Cider Harvest Hoarder Chai

by | Dec 1, 2015

As Idaho’s first commercial cidery, Longdrop Cider Co. burst onto the burgeoning market earlier this year. In a partnership with celebrated neighbor brewery Crooked Fence, Londrop produces and ships out of Crooked Flats, the brewery’s manor-like gastro-brewpub in Eagle, Idaho. The cidery finds inspiration in scrumpy-style ciders of the United Kingdom, producing ciders that are natural and unfiltered, using 100 percent Northwest-grown apples.

With two standard products on the canning and bottling line, the Harvest Hoarder Chai was a collaboration with the professionals at the World Tea Academy for the spicy, flavorsome fall seasonal. A custom blend of chai teas are steeped in apple juice for a cider fragrant and robust in aromas and flavors of black tea, cardamom, cinnamon and peppercorn spice swirled into an apple core.
